>From my reading, use in OSM should be fine, even without the source tag .. they maintain no copyright, and only request credit if the photo itself is used in a publication.

One question of rights comes up in the rectification step .. make sure you also have sufficient rights over whatever imagery or map used as a reference.

For the future in OAM, we should insure our infrastructure can handle NASA's modest attribution requirements.
